Key Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of permitting activities for telecom long-haul projects
- Prepare and submit accurate permit packages to local, state, and federal authorities
- Track and monitor permit status to ensure timely approvals and project progress
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to align permitting with project timelines
- Maintain compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, and regulatory requirements
- Research and apply regulatory updates to keep projects on track
- Serve as the primary point of contact for permitting inquiries and stakeholder communication
- Resolve permitting issues quickly to avoid delays and keep projects moving forward
- Two to five years of permitting or regulatory compliance experience, ideally in telecom, power, gas, construction, or other utility projects
- Proven ability to prepare and submit permit packages for approval
- Knowledge of zoning, building codes, ordinances, permitting procedures, and local regulations; DOT/Federal/County
- Understanding of outside plant design principles, work order processes, and telecom standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and engineering plans
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and scheduling tools;
Quick Base experience a plus - Skilled in researching and applying regulatory updates
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; confident interacting with stakeholders
- Responsive to client needs and capable of handling typical project requests
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to coordinate with agencies, attend meetings, or support project sites
- Role may start remote (work-from-home) and transition to in-office in Florence, KY once the new location is operational
