Traffic Engineer – Transportation Safety & Planning

, you'll manage transportation safety and planning projects, working closely with senior leadership to reduce crashes, improve traffic flow, and enhance community safety.

• Lead and support traffic engineering and transportation planning projects focused on safety and efficiency.
• Analyze traffic data and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and traffic engineering software.
• Apply knowledge of the MUTCD, Highway Safety Manual, Access Management Manual, and Trip Generation Manual in project design.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement data-driven solutions.
• Assist with project coordination, stakeholder communication, and documentation.

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, 3+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience.
• Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Required: Familiarity with key transportation manuals and traffic safety guidelines.
• Nice to Have: Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively pursuing licensure.
• Nice to Have: Experience with traffic engineering software:
  Micro Station, ArcGIS, Synchro, VISTRO.
• Valid driver's license and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
