We’re supporting a high‑tech innovation‑driven company based in the Zurich region in hiring a Hardware Development Engineer to strengthen their electronics team.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking hardware from early prototypes to industrialized products, with real impact on high‑precision sensor technology.

• Designing analog & digital electronics for embedded sensor‑based systems
• Developing hardware from concept prototype to series production
• Creating schematics, managing component libraries & designing PCBs using Altium Designer
• Translating system needs into technical requirements & hardware concepts
• Supporting hardware bring‑up, testing & design validation
• Participating in product qualification activities
  , including EMC & ESD readiness
• Collaborating closely with R&D, firmware, test & quality teams

• 3+ years of professional experience in hardware / electronics design
• Strong background in embedded hardware development
• Solid hands‑on experience with Altium Designer
• Confident in both analog & digital circuit design
• Practical experience with:
  • Prototype testing & characterization
  • EMC / ESD design considerations
• Comfortable working with lab equipment and real hardware challenges

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar
• Structured, curious and solution‑oriented mindset
• Enjoys teamwork and technical problem‑solving
• Fluent English required
  German skills are a plus, but not mandatory
