Mid-Level Software Engineer – Warehouse Optimization Team (Remote)

Unlike most of the e‑commerce arena, nearly all of our technology is designed, developed, and managed in‑house, giving our teams the freedom to build custom solutions in a rapidly evolving market. The Warehouse Optimization team develops services that support and streamline the process of packaging and shipping customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a collaborative, empowered team to design and deliver innovative solutions that advance business objectives.
• Build, maintain, and support critical applications that keep products moving to our customers, including building new architecture while maintaining existing infrastructure.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in the software we build and the way we work together.
• Communicate clearly and effectively while taking initiative and presenting ideas.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Remote Work Qualifications

• Access to a reliable and secure high‑speed internet connection. Cable or fiber (at least 75 mbps download/10 mbps upload) is preferred; satellite is not supported.
• Access to a home router and modem.
  
  A dedicated, noise‑and distraction‑free home office space with strong wireless or wired Ethernet (wired preferred).
• A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported.
• The desire and ability to work and communicate with team members via chat, webcam, etc.
• Legal residency in one of the following states: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, , IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, or WY. H‑1B Visa Sponsorship Not Available; W‑2 only.

Experience and Qualifications

• 3+ years in a professional software development role using .NET Core (C#).
• Working knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases (SQL Server, LiteDB).
• Experience with queuing/message broker technologies such as Rabbit
  
  MQ, Amazon SQS, Azure Service Bus.
• Working knowledge of caching solutions, particularly Redis.
• Ability to contribute effectively to a fully remote team while maintaining availability during EST working hours.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Implementing solutions within an event‑based architecture.
• Experience with micro‑frontend solutions.
• Working knowledge of the Blazor web framework.
• Monitoring and APM experience with tools such as New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, Open Telemetry, or similar.
