Civil Designer

As a Civil 3D CAD Designer for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC) in our Sacramento office, you will work with project managers to produce civil site, water resources and solid waste construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will prepare site plans, grading & drainage plans, utility plans, erosion control plans, storm and sewer profiles and grading surfaces. Your duties will include plan, profile, and cross-section drawings, development of erosion control and stormwater pollution prevention plans, calculation of material quantities, determination of earthwork volumes, identification of construction control systems, and review of drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards.

Opportunity for partial work from home and competitive compensation. The pay range for this position is between $48+ per hour based on experience and location. CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits.

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (Civil Engineering Degree is a plus)
• 10+ years of experience
• Civil 3D experience
• Must be detail oriented
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Land development experience is a plus
