Mechanical Designer

As a contractor, you will support a large ERP implementation focused on part setup and standardization within the ERP system, transferring part numbers from IFS to Kinetic/Epicor, product and part design, and making modifications to existing designs and BOMs.

• Set up and standardize parts within the ERP system.
• Transfer part numbers from IFS to Kinetic/Epicor.
• Design products and parts.
• Modify existing designs and BOMs.

• Experience in mechanical design, especially with sheet metal.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably Autodesk Inventor, with Solidworks as an alternative.
• Project management skills or the ability to plan projects without defined timelines.
• Experience in metal fabrication.

• Prior experience with ERP implementation and file transfer.
• Familiarity with Solidworks, Mechanical Engineering, Creo, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, new product development, and CAD.
• A minimum of 2 years of Mechanical Design experience.
• An associate degree in a related field to design or manufacturing.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 – $38.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
