Assistant Land Consultant – WSP (UK & Ireland)

- Supervising small land referencing teams in the identification of landowners, occupiers and other parties that hold a legal interest in land, through research and interpretation of HMLR titles and registers.
- Work on site, including door‑to‑door visits across the UK, to fill in missing information for the land ownership database.
- Support teams in land access, landowner engagement, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery through to consenting stages.
- Undertake desktop research, site visits and interpretation of title information, and manage information through databases and GIS.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory documentation and support multi‑disciplinary teams in managing land & stakeholder risk for infrastructure projects.
- Ideally, have experience of land projects in the water industry.
- A degree in geography or another relevant discipline, providing an understanding of the complexities of land‑use and/or landownership in the UK.
- Experience working with databases and managing information with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with mapping software and knowledge of GIS.
- Experience of landowner engagement or working with members of the public.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, building relationships with colleagues and landowners.
- Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- A full driving licence is required to travel to site and/or client offices or remote locations.
