We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a major NEC Civils project at Old Oak Common — one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure developments.
About the RoleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for key packages of work under the NEC form of contract. You will work closely with project teams to ensure cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and accurate forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
DutiesKey Responsibilities
- Manage and administer NEC contracts (main and subcontracts)
- Lead on cost control, valuations, and change management
- Prepare and negotiate interim and final accounts
- Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting
- Support procurement and subcontract management activities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential)
- Experience on major rail or civils projects preferred
- Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Professional membership (MRICS or equivalent) desirable
