Carbon Program Lead

Carbon Programme Lead role at GSK focuses on driving global carbon reduction initiatives across R&D Engineering sites.

• Lead global carbon program ownership: strategy deployment, transformation projects, budget and schedule management.
• Build relationships with Corporate Sustainability, Environmental Engineering and cross‑functional teams.
• Translate strategy into action, provide technical engineering appraisal and cascade actions to operational teams.
• Motivate the RDES community, deploy energy and utility programs, align engineering policies and processes.
• Prepare global trackers, dashboards, and leadership communication to monitor governance.
• Support finance and procurement: manage utility reduction budgets, 3‑year forecast, capital forecast on strategic carbon programs.
• Participate in Communities of Practice, site governance meetings, service partner oversight, and seasonal energy scrums.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years in project controls or project management with engineering focus.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in sustainability, engineering or related field.
• Experience in energy management and/or engineering projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC, LEV, chilled water, steam distribution systems.
• Strong matrix leadership, stakeholder engagement and analytical problem solving.
• Data reporting, project performance tracking, and actionable insights for leadership.
