Our client is a leading specialty contractor serving industrial, commercial, and infrastructure markets across North America. With a reputation for excellence in access, insulation, coatings, and related services, they support capital and maintenance projects across diverse sectors. Their teams deliver safe, cost‑efficient, and schedule‑driven solutions that help customers maximize productivity and performance.

They are seeking an Industrial Estimator (internally titled Insulated Metal Panel Estimator) to join their estimating team. The Industrial Estimator will focus on large‑value estimates across insulated metal panel systems
, including single‑skin and composite panel assemblies for industrial, cold storage, manufacturing, and data center construction. The role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the U.S. and involves collaborating with project teams nationwide to develop competitive and accurate proposals.

• Receive and manage customer Requests for Quote (RFQs) and project proposals, ensuring full understanding of insulated metal panel scope, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive estimates for insulated metal panel systems, including single‑skin and composite panels across industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, and data center projects.
• Interpret and extract data from construction drawings and MTOs to quantify materials, accessories, flashing, trims, and labor requirements.
• Perform digital takeoffs using Bluebeam and/or On‑Screen Takeoff to quantify panel systems and accessories.
• Consolidate takeoff data and cost inputs to generate detailed proposals.
• Collaborate with operations and project management to validate scope, erection sequencing, productivity factors, and equipment assumptions.
• Support bid reviews and presentations, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and company standards.
• Maintain consistent estimating practices and documentation for audit, cost tracking, and project execution.

• 5+ years of insulated metal panel estimating experience in industrial or commercial environments (cold storage, food processing, power, data centers, manufacturing, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of insulated metal panel systems, including single‑skin and composite assemblies, accessories, and fastening systems.
• Skilled at reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and building envelope drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex estimates and meet multiple bid deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience interacting with CRM systems such as Salesforce.

• Base salary in the 80k - 130k/year range
