OverviewSubstation Engineer in North Olmsted, OH (multiple positions):
Conduct single‑discipline projects and assist on multi‑discipline or larger projects. Coordinate technical work with internal disciplines and external stakeholders. Interface with clients and vendors with minimal oversight. Design documents including One‑Line and Three‑Line Diagrams, Grounding Plans, Electrical Layouts, and Protection & Control Schematics. Assist Senior Engineer or Project Manager. Perform quality checks of design deliverables and contribute to internal design reviews.
Conduct field investigations and assessments. Assist compliance with applicable codes, client standards, and engineering best practices. Assist in the development and maintenance of engineering standards and design tools. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as four (4) months in job or job‑related experience to include the duties listed above.
