Business Development Executive | Metric Geo | Water Resources Engineering

Our client, a reputable and growing engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a PE‑licensed Water Resources Project Manager to join their Water Resources team in Florida in a fully remote position. This position offers the opportunity to lead H&H design, dam safety, flood risk management, and waterway infrastructure projects statewide.

Base Pay Range

$/yr - $/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage water resources projects from scope and proposals through contracts and delivery.
  • Serve as primary client contact and lead teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Perform H&H modeling and design for dams, locks, waterways, waterfront structures, and ecosystem restoration.
  • Conduct dam safety and condition inspections; collect field data and prepare reports.
  • Prepare technical documents, plans, and specifications.
  • Mentor junior staff and support team development.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Support business development and prepare technical proposals.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders and contribute to group growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • PE license required.
  • 8+ years of water resources engineering experience.
  • Strong background in hydrology/hydraulics; familiarity with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, ArcGIS, SITES preferred.
  • USACE, NEPA, and permitting experience highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
