Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. (EOR) has an immediate leadership position opening at either our Madison, WI, Boone, IA, or St. Paul, MN office. EOR is an employee owned engineering and environmental consulting firm that specializes in WATER (watersheds + water resources), ECOLOGY (ecosystems + natural resources) and COMMUNITY (civil engineering, landscape architecture + planning).

Description:

We have multiple career‑making, legacy projects, in hand and ready for your leadership and involvement. Projects include premier park development, green infrastructure, ecosystem restoration, renewable energy, water resources and redevelopment. The ideal candidate can lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide innovative solutions with an environmentally sensitive approach, and has a solid civil engineering foundation. Must thrive in a small company environment, which requires a well‑rounded skill set, the ability to balance time‑sensitive tasks for multiple clients, and the desire to explore new and innovative projects and solutions.

Candidate should be detail orientated and able to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams.

• Client relationships – develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
• Business Development – lead public infrastructure initiatives and grow sector.
• Project Management – effectively manage multi‑disciplinary project teams.
• Staff Supervision – provide for staff growth through nurturing team leadership in a respectful, collaborative environment that promotes individual professional growth and positive team spirit.
• Group growth – assist the group in developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for the market including short and long‑term action plans and financial goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or related engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with an emphasis in managing projects focused on stormwater management, green infrastructure, parks, and/or site development and redevelopment.
• 2+ years of experience in the private A&E industry
• Licensed Professional Engineer in WI, MN, and/or IA or have the ability to become licensed in all three within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent organization, technical and analytical skills
• Excellent supervisory and team building skills
• Proven ability to execute projects using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Project management and business development acumen
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide own means of reliable transportation for occasional day trips.

• Bidding and construction experience a plus!

Base compensation is determined by factors such as market data, education and/or applicable experience, training, skills, and geographic location where work is performed. The salary for this position is expected to range between $115,000 to $150,000. Additionally, there is the potential for an end‑of‑year bonus based upon company profitability.
