This remote position requires candidates to reside in CT, MA, NH, NY, or RI and will report to a Northeast region office such as Rocky Hill, CT, Chelmsford, MA, Manchester, NH, or Providence, RI.
Job DescriptionAS is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager with expertise in underground storage tank (UST) investigation and remediation, and regulatory knowledge in the above states.
Responsibilities- Manage scope, schedule, and budget for large investigation, remediation, and construction projects.
- Develop remedial designs.
- Build strong client relationships.
- Correspond with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Write and review technical reports.
- Analyze and apply solutions to complex issues within the area of expertise.
- Exercise health and safety stewardship, including local field visits.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractors.
- Ensure quality control of tasks.
- Mentor junior project staff.
- Travel regionally for field visits.
- Supervise up to five staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Geology, or related field and at least two years of project management experience (or equivalent).
- US citizenship required; sponsorship not offered.
- Subject to background check and motor vehicle records check.
- At least four years of environmental consulting experience focusing on site investigation/remediation.
- At least three years of project management experience.
- Experience with environmental regulatory agencies in CT, MA, NH, NY, ME, and RI.
- Completed 40‑hour HAZWOPER training.
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 per year.
