* What you will do:

*** Ensure that all pipelines and associated facilities are designed in accordance with all regulations, applicable industry codes and corporate specifications and standards.
* Responsible for scheduling, cost control (cost estimates), and forecasting for the design work and for reporting these to the Pipeline Engineering Supervisor and Project Manager.
* Provide guidance in design reviews with outside engineering firms and with internal stakeholders.
* Work with Procurement & Supply Chain team to purchase materials and to contract Engineering related service providers.
* Provide technical assistance during construction and assist with on-site commissioning.
* Assist with the regulatory process by providing preliminary layout drawings, technical project descriptions, and other requested information for use in the application filing.
** Who you are:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
* Minimum 6 years of pipeline industry experience required such as experience on pipeline routing selections and design and working with geotechnical and hydro technical hazards.
* In depth, detailed knowledge of applicable codes such as CSA Z662, DOT CFR 192, DOT CFR 195, ASME B31, NACE, etc. Familiarity and knowledge of materials standards & specifications (CSA, ASME, API, etc.). Trenchless design and feasibility analysis. Pipeline stress analysis and software, CEPA surface loading calculation.
* Effective interpersonal skills which include working a team focused environment and communication skills.
* Role requires a valid Class 5 drivers license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

* 25% travel to sites and other Enbridge offices.

** Ranges from $94,300 – $130,000 based upon experience.
