Industrial Hygiene Program Specialist [DOE
0028027] for Program Support on a contract contingent basis (W-2; Exempt, no overtime) across the CONUS, primarily Richland, Washington. Supports DOE EM Hanford in a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance.
The candidate will support professional services engagements for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as DOE in a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 environment within Environmental Management, Safety and Health; and Quality Assurance
Functional Area
/ Swim Lane / Category Discipline — General Support Services (GSS) for Hanford Field Office (HFO). Pro Sidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time Pro Sidian employed W-2 position.
- Industrial Hygiene Program Specialist responsibilities for General Support Services (GSS) at Hanford Field Office (HFO).
- Conduct hazard assessments and IH surveys in accordance with applicable requirements, including 10 CFR 851.
- Lead IH sampling during outages and support IH monitoring, JHA, and exposure analysis as needed.
- Support program and project management activities related to Environment, Safety and Health; and Quality Assurance
Functional Area
s. - Provide on-site and some remote support as approved, with work conducted predominantly at the Hanford Site, Richland, WA.
- 5–8+ years of Industrial Hygiene (IH) or safety experience; CIH or CSP preferred.
- Education:
BS in IH/Safety; HAZWOPER certification is preferred. - Relevant functional experience supporting Environmental Management Sector and IH program requirements.
Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, Richland, Washington. Initial work site address: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520, Richland, WA 99354 (subject to change; remote work as permitted).
Security, Travel & Resources- Security:
Facility Clearance required; DOE clearance as indicated for work performed. - Travel:
Coordinated with technical point of contact; travel approved in writing by the CO per Federal Travel Regulations. - Government-Furnished Resources:
Office space, computer workstations, and required software provided at HFO; predominantly on-site with some remote support as approved.
Field presence required.
