Forensic Project Engineer – Civil/Structural

Envista Forensics – Join our forensic team in the greater Denver, Colorado area (remote work except field investigations 30‑40% of the time). We seek a passionate, collaborative civil/structural engineer to support project delivery and client success.

As a Civil/Structural Project Engineer, you will investigate failures in building systems, analyze cause, prepare field investigations, research failure modes, and provide recommendations. Senior Project Engineers will also be considered.

• Investigate origin and cause of failures, damages, or defects in civil/structural fields at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Analyze building system failures, determine cause, evaluate quality of construction, review design or maintenance procedures.
• Perform field investigations, lead multi‑party examinations, and document damaged property.
• Research failure modes and code requirements, preparing recommendations for repair and/or remediation.
• Prepare reports and letters outlining origin and cause of damages to clients.
• Manage and work with multidisciplinary teams on large, complex assignments.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5–7 years of experience designing in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Experience working in the field is a benefit.
• 25‑30%+ travel.
• Ability to work in inclement weather and varied environments.
• Ability to work at heights and physical agility.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strict timelines.

Pay range: $125,000‑$150,000 annually. Base pay may vary by experience. Sign‑on bonus possible. Full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
