Principal Geotechnical Engineer; Remote

• Manage complex projects and provide technical review and project management support
• Prepare and make decisions for major proposals and contracts
• Develop and deliver client presentations and assist with marketing strategies
• Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on complex projects
• Oversee client contracting and maintain internal and external client relationships

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
• Minimum of 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
• Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal abilities

• Reputation as a technical leader in the industry regionally or nationally
• Experience managing client relationships and developing new business
• Ability to mentor less experienced engineers in applying engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and communicating project budgets
• Highly organized with strong multi-tasking skills
