Principal Geotechnical Engineer; Remote

• Manage complex projects and provide technical reviews and project management support for clients
• Prepare major proposals and contracts, and develop complex engineering reports
• Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on intricate projects
• Oversee client contracting and maintain internal and external client relationships
• Lead, mentor, and manage technical staff while ensuring project safety compliance

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
• Minimum of 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
• Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a reputation as a technical leader
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret technical information

• Experience in managing client relationships and developing new business
• Creative and innovative problem-solving skills in complex situations
• Proven ability to influence others and develop direct reports
  
  Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Experience working in both office and job site environments
