As a Senior Project Buyer, you are the key link between engineering, commercial, and supplier teams, ensuring that every procurement decision drives project excellence and client satisfaction — on time, within budget, and in full compliance. You play a pivotal role in ensuring early procurement involvement, bringing strategic sourcing and contract management into projects from day one.

By combining your strong procurement expertise with proactive collaboration, you translate ambitious client requirements and business objectives into actionable strategies that maximize project value and long‑term success.

• Strategic Procurement Leadership:
  Define and implement procurement strategies from the pre‑sales phase through to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Early Procurement Involvement:
  Engage proactively during the Business Development stage to embed procurement strategies early and drive project performance.
• Tender Management:
  Prepare, launch, and manage calls for tenders, ensuring a transparent, competitive, and compliant selection process.
• Negotiation and Contracting:
  Lead negotiations with suppliers, develop strategies with project teams, and finalize contracts efficiently in coordination with Legal and Project stakeholders.
• Contract Management:
  Translate client contract mechanisms into supplier contracts, protecting Tractebel’s interests and ensuring smooth project execution.
• Governance and Alignment:
  Represent Procurement in project steering committees and lead procurement activities across all phases.
• Supplier and Market Intelligence:
  Identify and evaluate suppliers, manage relationships, and maintain up‑to‑date market knowledge to secure the best conditions and ensure sustained performance.
