Overview
Environmental Consulting opportunity focused on water resources and mine water management. This role involves leading technical analyses, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, advising clients, and supporting business development within a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities- Lead technical analyses related to water balance modeling and hydrologic studies
- Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary project teams, providing mentorship to junior staff
- Advise clients on mine water management strategies and conduct alternatives analyses
- Engage in business development activities, including conference presentations and proposal writing
- Conduct statistical analysis of hydrological data to inform decision-making processes
- Bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in water resources management
- Proven experience developing water balance models and designing surface water impoundments
- Strong analytical skills in statistical analysis and hydrological data
- Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- More than 10 years of experience in consulting engineering or related industrial work
- Advanced degrees (M.Sc. or PhD) in civil or environmental engineering
- Familiarity with various hydrologic modeling software tools
- Strong client relationship management skills and experience in water resources engineering for permitting
- Experience with mine closure and reclamation planning
- Salary anticipated range of $110,000–160,000 annually
- Eligibility for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance
