The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and will assist in the design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design, culvert design, and pavement design, etc.
- Professional will have hands-on involvement in permitting process
- Professional will have significant interaction with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients

- Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set by the project managers based off client needs
- Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, interface directly with the client or sub-consultants
- Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation to clients
- Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in active pursuit of registration
- Thorough understanding of civil site development (i.e., Site Plans, Permitting, Grading, Storm Water Management, Storm Water Design)
- Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
Certifications
Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
- Typical office/home office environment. Physical Demands:
Sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, driving, seeing, writing, reaching, stooping, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods of time. - May require travel to local and regional client sites.
