Sr. Structural Design Engineer (C++/C#/SQL) – Remote

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Senior Structural Design Engineer with extensive experience in metal building engineering and pre‑engineered metal buildings, strong knowledge of engineering codes such as IBC and NBCC, and proficiency in C# or C++ along with familiarity with SQL.

• Lead the structural design and analysis of metal building projects, ensuring compliance with engineering codes and standards (IBC, NBCC, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative solutions for pre‑engineered metal buildings.
• Utilize advanced engineering software and tools to create detailed design plans and specifications.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
• Participate in project planning, coordination, and execution to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Implement and maintain best practices for structural design and engineering processes.

• Senior/Advanced level Structural Design Engineer.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• Proven experience in metal building engineering and pre‑engineered metal buildings.
• In‑depth knowledge of engineering codes and standards, including IBC and NBCC.
• Proficiency in C++ (C# experience acceptable if no C++).
• Familiarity with SQL for database management and data analysis.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as SAP
  2000, ETABS, or similar.
• Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) and related software.

Pay Range: $120,000–140,000 per year.
