A Little More About Your Role- Interpret client specification requirements for design development
- Design pipework including heating, cooling, hot and cold water systems
- Design ventilation systems
- Select plant and equipment items based on designs, including Air Handling Units, Fans, Pumps, Pressurisation Units, Boilers, Heat emitters, Chillers, Ductwork and ancillary ductwork, Pipework and ancillary pipework
- Experience of mechanical design in the rail environment
- Qualifications meeting the requirements for Chartered status with a UK Engineering Institution
- Working knowledge of:
- Design of above ground plumbing and waste systems
- Design of rainwater disposal systems
- Design of drainage systems
- Network Rail and/or London Underground standards
- Controls/BMS for mechanical systems
