RoleSummary
Seeking a Senior Level Professional Engineer experienced in evaluating distress to existing buildings, structures and building envelopes. The engineer will oversee all aspects of investigative projects, coordinate with clients, conduct site visits, manage resources, write reports, conduct analyses, review building codes, and set deadlines to ensure timely project deliverables.

- Acts as primary lead on projects.
- Coordinates with clients to schedule site visits and complete deliverables.
- Manages project resources and sets/meets deadlines to keep projects on schedule.
- Produces project reports that synthesize onsite inspection data with environmental factors, material properties, and performance analysis to determine likely causes and scope of distress and failures.
- Performs site visits to collect field data on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Reviews and interprets relevant building codes as needed.
- Oversees development of repair designs, ensuring coordination across disciplines.
- Makes independent decisions on analysis and testing methods, repair materials (when necessary), and resource selection.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Active PE license required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in forensic engineering preferred.
