Responsibilities- Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects.
- Review field logs and soil samples for classification and prepare boring logs.
- Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies.
- Prepare engineering reports for senior review.
- Manage projects from scope through schedule, budget, and safety.
- Work independently on specific assignments with senior review.
- Conduct quality reviews of work performed by staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues.
- Coordinate with regional operations to allocate staff, resources, and workloads.
- Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Support client relationships to achieve renewables market sector goals.
- Perform field testing and observations as needed.
- Assist field operations with technician training and review.
- Demonstrate action orientation, efficient time management, and rapid learning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong organization and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a time‑critical, dynamic work environment.
- Capability to work independently and as a team member.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Experience in creating, maintaining, and communicating project budgets.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering field.
- Two or more years of construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with large‑scale construction projects preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
$58,100.00 – $87,100.00
