We are seeking a Civil 3D Subject Matter Expert / CAD Manager to elevate our CAD standards, mentor our staff, and streamline workflows across the firm. This can be a hybrid (in IL/MO/FL) or remote position with the opportunity to influence firm-wide design practices.

• Provide training and mentorship to staff on Civil 3D best practices, workflows, and standards.
• Develop, organize, and maintain CAD libraries, templates, and standards.
• Support project delivery by stepping in to complete design tasks when needed (vacation coverage, high workloads, etc.).
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and consistency across teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CAD-related technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to align CAD workflows with project goals.

• Proven expertise with Autodesk Civil 3D in an engineering or design environment.
• 5+ years of CAD design/production experience; prior leadership or CAD management preferred.
• Strong training, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing and implementing CAD standards and libraries.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• This position offers a salary range of $70,000–$110,000 per year, along with bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and holiday pay.
• The listed salary range reflects the potential compensation for this role. Starting pay will be based on relevant experience, skills, and location.
