Roadway Designer

Overview

Roadway Designer role  are a growing, multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm focused on enhancing infrastructure and communities across the country.

• Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships.
• Review mathematical calculations, organize calculations to be included in the design file, and follow project standards as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Establish project goals and milestones, define responsibilities, coordinate resources, and monitor project progress.
• Design and model simple to more complex roadway design projects, including renewals and reconstruction, as part of transportation projects.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• Desire to obtain your E.I.T (and pursue a P.E. in the future).
• Experience performing design efforts and plan development for transportation projects (roadway, traffic, hydraulics, erosion control, etc.).
• Knowledge of Micro Station, Open Roads Designer, and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
• Willingness to be adaptable to office and field project site inspection tasks to support project design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in deadline-driven environments.

Rapid City, SD;
Omaha, NE;
Bellevue, NE;
Lincoln, NE;
Grand Island, NE.
