Production Engineering Manager

• As a production engineering manager, you will be responsible for the transition of our optical measuring instruments from development to series production and the continuous maintenance of the production process.
• You will work with your team to develop effective processes for manufacturing, testing, and calibration, and you will be the driving force behind continuous optimization.
• Introduction of new standards and methods with a focus on time, costs, and quality
• You will take into account the requirements of the quality management system, environmental protection, and IT security
• You will be responsible for the production engineering team, and the position offers the potential to take on further responsibility in production in the medium term.

• Master's degree in physics, photonics, production engineering, or electrical engineering
• Experience with LEAN production for small series manufacturing - automation and efficiency improvements
• Experience with the transfer of complex measurement systems from development to series production
• Very good German and English skills (level C2)
• Solid software background (Windows, Excel, databases, interfaces, evaluations, and visualizations)
• Good knowledge of electronics and optical components such as optical amplifiers and laser modules
• Strong communication skills, committed and assertive in order to drive the production team forward
