Technical Investment Manager - Clean Energy and Decarbonization（主任～課長

仕事内容／Roles & Responsibilities

• 社内外の専門家と協力し、投資候補案件の技術デューデリジェンスを実施する。
• 脱炭素化、グリーンエネルギー、エネルギー転換の分野における投資機会を積極的に特定し、発掘する。
• 起業家、業界専門家、VC、その他ステークホルダーとの関係構築と維持を行う。
• カンファレンス、ネットワーキング・イベント、ミートアップに出席し、最新の動向を把握するとともに、持続可能エネルギーに関わる産官学や学生団体との関係を深める。
• 案件の交渉や実行をサポートまたは引き受け、投資委員会の準備に積極的に貢献する。
• モニタリングと積極的なコラボレーションを通じて、投資先企業のプロダクト開発をサポートする。
• 社内外のステークホルダーを巻き込み、スタートアップ企業の新技術の導入支援、革新的なエネルギーパイロットプロジェクトの実施等を行う。

•

Work with internal and external experts and lead conducting technical due diligence on potential investments, with main focus on evaluating; technical viability, technology readiness level, associated development plan, and technical risk assessments.

• Proactively identify and source investment opportunities in the areas of decarbonization, green energy, and energy transformation

• Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, VCs, and other stakeholders

• Attend conferences, networking events, and meetups to stay updated on the latest developments and deepen relationships with industry, government, academia and student groups involved with sustainable energy.

• Support and/or undertake deal negotiation and execution and actively contribute to investment committee preparations.

• Support portfolio companies develop their product via monitoring and proactive collaboration.

• Work with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams of both JERA Ventures and JERA Co to assess strategic alignment of startups, deploy new technologies, and implement innovative energy pilot projects.
