Position Title: Director of Institutional Research
Department: Academic Affairs
Classification: Administrative - Staff, Full-Time, Exempt
Reports to: Vice President for Academic Affairs and University Provost
Location: Remote within the continental US, with the ability to travel to campuses and other locations. Candidates located in vicinity of one of Antioch University’s 5 national campuses preferred.
Compensation: Antioch University offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes both direct and indirect pay. Position Summary: Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and University Provost, the Director of Institutional Research is responsible for all university-level institutional research functions, including but not limited to the development of a comprehensive institutional research program to support the University’s mission. The Director is a member of the University Office of Academic Affairs team and works collaboratively with the Cabinet, governance committees, and offices across the university to assure a comprehensive approach to institutional effectiveness.
The Director serves as a chief data advisor to support strategic planning, accreditation compliance, academic planning, retention and degree completion, program reviews, student learning outcomes, enrollment projections and other processes requiring strategic analysis. This includes conducting periodic environmental scans to stay apprised of external and internal threats and opportunities.
