High School Humanities Remote Tutor; Part-Time

Overview

High School Humanities Remote Tutor (Part-Time) at Revolution Prep. Make a real impact on students’ academic journeys—right from home. This role offers the consistency of W-2 employment, paid training, compensated prep time, and a collaborative team.

• Lead dynamic tutoring sessions for students in high school English, social sciences, and foreign languages (90%)
• Share educational progress with students and families (5%)
• Paid session planning and preparation (5%)

• Part-time: 12-hour delivery target with 16 hours of availability or 20-hour delivery target with 24 hours of availability, including evenings and weekends
• Pay: $20 per hour for instruction time (tutoring); prep and training time compensated at $10 per hour or your local minimum wage (whichever is higher)

• Completed Bachelor’s degree; additional qualifications a plus
• Minimum of one year teaching or tutoring experience
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and current residence required
• Ability to support various humanities subjects by earning a 90% or better on at least three subject assessments
• Reliable high-speed internet and quiet, professional space; technology kit provided if needed
• Ability to commit to the same hours of availability week-on-week during weekday afternoons/evenings and at least 8 hours on weekends
• Commit to a minimum of one year of employment

Availability:
Post required availability for your delivery target during prime-time hours weekly, the same hours every week.
