Overview

We (Queen Mary Students' Union) are a democratic, membership-led charity that exists to improve students' lives. You will support this mission by working within our Student Voice Team, which supports student representatives and student decision-making including all student meetings, elections and referendums. The Students' Union supports over 28,000 students who make up the diverse and vibrant student body at Queen Mary University of London.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver training, support campaigning work, conduct desk-based research and produce briefings for our elected student reps.
  • Coordinate the course rep system and work proactively with key contacts in the university to ensure the course rep system is running smoothly and provides effective representation for all students at course level.
  • Work within the Student Voice Team to support a wide range of tasks, including elections, training of reps, liberation campaigns and democratic student meetings.
  • Work individually and as part of a team to achieve personal objectives as well as shared goals.
Role Details

This is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent position. The starting salary will be £33,263 per annum pro-rata, inclusive of the London Allowance, with annual raises by one point as set out in the QMUL Pay and Grading Structure.
