Professional Learning Specialist - REMOTE

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support educators by integrating technology and research-based instructional best practices. You will facilitate professional development sessions, both virtually and in-person, to improve classroom instruction across various grade levels and subjects. • Serve as a product expert, providing educators with implementation strategies tailored to their unique classroom needs.
• Partner with school and district leaders to plan and deliver professional development that supports successful implementation.
• Travel to facilitate in-person professional development sessions for schools and districts.
• Set up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events, ensuring an engaging experience for participants.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support schools piloting the learning product.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with educators and school leaders effectively.

• BA/BS degree required.
• 5+ years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting; leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong preference for candidates with educational professional development experience.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and collaborative attitude.
• Organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Experience using Google Apps and Zoom.
• Must live near a major airport.
