Job DescriptionThe associate director of admissions and parent engagement for the Falk College of Sport will be responsible for a full range of duties and will help to lead the enrollment management of all undergraduate and graduate programs in the college by; engaging prospective students on and off campus with goals to increase visibility, increase inquiry and applicant pools, and employ processes to increase diversity.
They will plan and execute on-campus and virtual recruitment events, research areas of opportunity with regard to recruitment, and create and implement initiatives that will optimize overall enrollment goals.
This position will act as a key leader on the admissions team and will provide guidance to obtain goals set by the director and the budget office.
With attention to recent restructuring and reprioritization, the associate director of admissions and parent engagement will collaborate extensively with the communications team to help coordinate marketing initiatives and social media opportunities.
This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU , Local 200
United.
- Master’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education.
- Experience in enrollment management and 3 years plus of experience in higher education preferred.
- Must have strong leadership, interpersonal, presentational, and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to provide, direction, oversight and management of admission recruitment cycle and student enrollment, overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment activities.
- Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and writing abilities are required.
- Relevant and demonstrable management experience to support CRM and application systems, demonstrating an understanding of Slate, to support Students, faculty, and staff.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and an appreciation for working with diverse populations.
- In partnership with the director, the associate director of Falk admissions will develop and lead the strategy related to undergraduate and graduate admissions for the college.
- Build relationships with prospective undergraduate students and their families as well as prospective graduate students, informing them about academic programs and opportunities at Falk College.
- Responsible for the development and coordination of the recruiting strategy for programs within Falk to include building and executing communication plans to prospective and admitted students, utilizing the Slate communication and application system.
- Directs daily information sessions (in-person and virtual) and communicate with all prospective Falk students via phone, email, and social media.
