Schedule:
Schedule recurs weekly and is flexible to class schedules. Hours range between Monday through Friday 9 am – 4 pm with occasional weekends.

Minimum: $17.50

Qualifications:- Ability to balance academic and job responsibilities
- Must be able to attend department trainings, team meetings, and the Rec Well Leadership Summit in August and March
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) required
- Strong attention to detail
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification or ability to attain it within the first 30 days of employment. These trainings are offered through Rec Well.
- Ideal candidates will have the potential to stay in the role for at least 1 year
- Familiarity with food or cooking events is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (student coworkers, professional staff, and event customers).
- Critical thinking, flexibility, and organization skills.
- Ability to learn new software programs.
- Ability to work independently.
Job Duties:
The Nutrition Education team is seeking creative and detail‑oriented students to serve in this leadership position. This work is geared towards completing administrative tasks that make cooking classes in the Wolf Teaching Kitchen successful while providing a superior customer service experience for participants. This position works in collaboration with departmental professional staff and supports work of Teaching Kitchen Instructors.
Nutrition Education Student Leads will:
- Provide administrative support to Nutrition Education team including data entry and communication via Microsoft Teams.
- Assist in Wolf Teaching Kitchen operations including, but not limited to, inventory management, laundry, food and administrative preparation.
- Follow all food safety, general safety, and food allergen guidelines.
- When necessary, facilitate events and programs in the Wolf Teaching Kitchen including preparation of supplies and food, and clean‑up.
- Support staff training at team meetings and resource guides.
- Commit to upholding the mission, vision, and values of Rec Well on and off‑shift and commit to building a culture of belonging.
- Other duties as assigned.
Occasional lifting, transporting of materials.
