Role Details

We are offering an exciting five‑month fixed‑term opportunity to support academic programme teams in managing the delivery and improvements to the College of Business and Law (CBL) programmes. CBL is an ambitious College with student experience at the heart of its core values. You will support the College in areas such as monitoring and reporting on student engagement data, embedding inclusivity initiatives, and helping to organise and promote academic events.

In addition, you will support at least one College‑wide improvement project. The role will appeal to anyone who enjoys working as part of an energetic team in a fast‑changing higher education environment. The five‑month term offers variety and plenty of opportunities to develop new skills as well as apply and hone existing ones.

About You

Applicants should be recent graduates comfortable with standard university IT platforms to provide rudimentary guidance to new students and produce basic reports.

You will be a confident communicator able to deal with and refer on queries where appropriate. Reflections on your own experience of university life will add to the culture of continuous improvement and student support.

You will be proactive, organised, and able to deal with competing demands and tight timescales. Training on the relevant IT systems will be provided as well as guidance through all relevant aspects of the department.
