This is a role based in Barnsley, with options for some work from home. As a Welding Instructor, you will deliver hands‑on instruction in various welding techniques, develop customized course curricula, and support students in gaining technical skills. Responsibilities include conducting welding demonstrations, ensuring a safe workshop environment, and keeping up to date with industry developments to enhance the learning experience.

You will also work closely with employers to align training to industry standards and demands.

• Proficiency in Welding techniques including Pipe Welding and FCAW (Flux‑Cored Arc Welding)
• Experience in Curriculum Development and the creation of tailored instructional materials
• Strong communication and instructional skills to effectively mentor and train students
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Previous experience as a welding professional or instructor is preferred
• Possession of relevant certifications in welding and welding inspection is an advantage
• Ability to adapt to hybrid work arrangements, including in‑person and remote responsibilities
