Position Overview

Assignment Length: 12 Weeks - PTE

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts)

Pay Rate: $52.00/hour

Location: Plano, TX

Plano Independent School District is seeking a Hybrid Educational Diagnostician for a 12-week travel assignment. This full-time position supports the Behavioral Health unit and will primarily be campus-based, with the possibility of handling overflow evaluations as needed. The role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with guaranteed remote work one day per week and potential for two remote days depending on district needs.

• Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations for students
• Interpret assessment data and prepare detailed evaluation reports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide recommendations
• Ensure compliance with state and district special education guidelines
• Manage caseload effectively, whether campus-assigned or supporting overflow needs

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour day shifts (40 hours per week)
• Hybrid model:
• 1 remote workday per week guaranteed
• Potential for up to 2 remote days per week when available

• Required:
  
  Master’s Degree as an Educational Diagnostician
• Valid state licensure/certification as required
• Experience conducting school-based evaluations
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
