Location: Cosmo Nottinghamshire, England, United Kingdom.

As an Online Tutor
, you will teach ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum. You will work with students at a set time each week for 50‑minute one‑on‑one lessons, building a welcoming and fun learning environment.

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K–12 in ELA.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1.
• Able to work within the following time windows: 8–2 PM GMT Monday‑Friday or 5 AM – 2 PM GMT weekends.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis.
• Access to a private and quiet location.
• Passion for helping students learn.
• Current location in the UK.
• Approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, and reliable teaching style.

• Set a flexible and consistent schedule that you set.
• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
• Time windows: 8–2 PM GMT Monday‑Friday; 5 AM – 2 PM GMT weekends.

Entry level.

The pay rate for this position is $20 USD per class plus additional incentives.
