• Modify and adapt the K12 curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs for students identified with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to achieve student goals
• Educate parents on various instructional strategies and prepare appropriate documentation
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings and proctor required testing for students

• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) and web applications
• Ability to work without direct supervision and maintain a professional home office
• Ability to pass required background check

• Minimum 1 year of classroom experience in a special education setting
• Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Special Education
• 3 or more years of classroom experience in Special Education
