The Canadian Academy of Financial Services (CAFS) provides online exam preparation programs for mutual fund representatives across Canada. Our courses are designed to be clear, practical, and accessible, helping students successfully prepare for licensing examinations or earn continuing education credits.

Our team is primarily based in Quebec, and we deliver training to both individuals and corporate clients through online learning platforms and live webinars.

We are seeking a Mutual Funds Instructor with direct experience teaching the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) course to deliver engaging online lessons and support students preparing for the mutual fund licensing exam.

• Delivering virtual lessons specifically related to the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) curriculum
• Supporting students preparing for the mutual fund representative licensing exam
• Reviewing, editing, and ensuring the quality of English translations of course materials
• Developing and delivering lesson plans that are clear, concise, and engaging
• Managing student inquiries and providing timely feedback and guidance
• Monitoring student performance and providing constructive evaluations
• Collaborating with the CAFS team to continuously improve course materials

This is a remote contract position.

• Direct experience teaching the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) course or preparing students for the IFC exam
• Strong knowledge of mutual funds, financial markets, and Canadian regulatory requirements
• Proven teaching or presentation skills, preferably in online or webinar-based instruction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English (required)

• Familiarity with CSI course materials and the IFC curriculum
• Bilingual in English and French
• Experience using online learning platforms or LMS systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

• We particularly welcome retired financial services professionals who have experience teaching or mentoring new representatives and wish to remain active in the industry.

Compensation: $45/hour
