Special Education Teacher Work From Home - Connecticut

A Special Education Teacher is needed to provide instruction for students in grades K-5 within an intensive autism self-contained classroom. This temporary contract position extends from March through the end of the school year, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM, approximately 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with intensive autism in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Utilize telehealth methods as necessary to support student learning.
• Collaborate with support staff to create a suitable and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and behavior.

• Certification in Special Education teaching for grades K-5.
• Experience working with students in intensive autism classrooms.
