At 2 Hour Learning, we've developed a system in which students learn at twice the rate in only two hours per day. This is achieved through AI-driven tutoring, mastery-based advancement, and a complete rethinking of traditional classroom design. The outcomes speak for themselves. We now need a leader who can align execution across varied school environments, elevate standards in academic leadership, and serve as the public advocate for a movement rooted in evidence-based learning science.
This is not a position centered on abstract theory. It is a leadership charge. You will direct the academic strategy in action, establish rigorous standards, surface gaps in execution, and mentor high-performing teams toward measurable success. You will convert our scientific principles into operational excellence and champion this model globally.
What You Will Be Doing- Designing academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable direction for curriculum development, motivation architecture, and application design.
- Overseeing academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure school teams remain synchronized, accountable, and outcome-focused.
- Integrating data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify the most critical barriers to accelerated learning and recommend targeted solutions.
- Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain emphasis on student learning objectives.
- Serving as the external face of 2 Hour Learning in high-profile settings, including keynote presentations and meetings with Ministries of Education, to influence global perspectives on education reform.
- Working on narrow curriculum initiatives that fail to generate systemic impact.
- Producing theoretical research disconnected from student outcomes or operational execution.
- Shifting accountability for performance to middle management or external consultants.
- Depending on institutional reputation or theoretical arguments to convince doubtful stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Expand and strengthen 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by coordinating execution across school sites, raising leadership performance standards, and serving as the authoritative public representative of a movement built on rigorous science and demonstrated outcomes.
Basic Requirements- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes.
- Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning.
- Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising.
- Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar.
- Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions.
- Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders.
- Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech venture.
- Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts.
- Deep familiarity with Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks.
