Position Summary
PSCI 240:World Politics
A comprehensive introduction to international politics. This course is designed to help students establish a basic understanding of the history of war and peace, international relations theory, human security, international political economy, international law, and international organizations.
Midterm – July 24, 2026. 1:00 – 2:05 PM
Final Exam – August 24, 2026. 7:00 – 10:00 PM
Position Requirements
• MA or PhD in Political Science or equivalent discipline. Preference related to academic qualifications will be given in the following order: applicants with PhDs; applicants who have completed all PhD coursework and are enrolled in a PhD program; applicants who have completed all PhD coursework but are not currently enrolled in a PhD program; applicants who are enrolled in a PhD program but have not completed PhD coursework;
applicants with a Masters degree.
• Experience with teaching or research related to the course’s subject matter.
• A record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level.
