Responsibilities

• Teach online writing and communication courses using engaging, interactive teaching methodologies.
• Develop comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and handouts.
• Evaluate and grade student assignments, papers, and coursework with timely, constructive feedback.
• Facilitate dynamic virtual classroom discussions that promote critical thinking and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
• Provide individualized academic support to strengthen students’ written and verbal communication skills.
• Stay current with best practices in online education and integrate relevant digital tools into instruction.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching writing or communication courses, preferably online or in hybrid formats.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to clarity and detail.
• Experience creating digital course content and working with learning management systems (LMS).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple classes and student records.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging virtual learning environment.
