The University of Central Arkansas Assistant Professor is responsible for teaching, research and service. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The position is tenure track and a nine‑month appointment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as a core member of the undergraduate faculty with some teaching in the graduate programs.
- Teach courses in line with program and department needs.
- Conduct an active program of research and scholarship with a clearly articulated agenda that supports the involvement of students as research assistants.
- Mentor students through academic advising and research.
- Serve the department, university, and community in ways that promote psychology.
Areas of scholarship and expertise are open, with some preference in the areas of health psychology, sport psychology, or industrial/organizational psychology. We are eager to support applicants who bring diversity to the department and university.

Education and/or Experience
The formal education of a doctorate is required.
