Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Curriculum Designer, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

Do you possess the ability to analyze the fine details of a Shakespearean sonnet or deconstruct a word's phonetic composition with precision? Picture applying that depth of linguistic and literary knowledge alongside advanced AI to transform the way millions of learners achieve mastery in language and literature. At 2 Hour Learning, we're doing more than shaping the future of English instruction—we're designing it as an adaptive, immersive learning experience.

We are looking for a visionary professional to drive our initiative in reshaping English and Language Arts education through sophisticated data analysis, pioneering AI integration, and comprehensive subject expertise. Your objective? To accelerate the rate at which students understand language fundamentals and literary analysis by a factor of two, spanning from foundational phonics through advanced critical interpretation.

2 Hour Learning is redefining K‑12 education with proven outcomes. Our AI‑powered learning platform is changing the student learning experience, allowing them to achieve subject mastery at double the pace of conventional education. We're not adjusting the existing framework; we're constructing an entirely new one, supported by compelling evidence. Students on our platform routinely score 4s and 5s on five or more AP exams, show over two years' growth on annual MAP assessments, and exceed their own expectations of achievement.

What

You Will Be Doing
  • Identifying patterns in student literacy and composition data through AI, converting these discoveries into innovative strategies that transform English language instruction and literary interpretation.
  • Developing AI‑driven tools that respond to individual learning preferences, making grammar comprehensible, vocabulary acquisition engaging, and literary interpretation attainable for learners across all proficiency levels.
  • Creating dynamic instructional pathways that adjust in real‑time, directing students from foundational phonics to analyzing sophisticated texts, ensuring every learner advances at the most effective pace.
  • Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of educators, language specialists, and AI professionals to expand the possibilities of language instruction, directly shaping the educational experience of thousands of students.
  • Converting classic and modern literature into interactive, AI‑enriched experiences that both educate learners and inspire their enthusiasm for reading and composition.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Overseeing conventional English curricula or performing administrative duties—this position focuses on innovation and strategic enhancement of language arts instruction and learning within our accelerated framework.
  • Operating independently—you’ll collaborate within our dynamic team advancing the frontiers of AI in English instruction.
  • Concentrating exclusively on theoretical concepts—every AI solution you build will directly influence how students comprehend and utilize language competencies in practical contexts, all within the 2 Hour Learning system.
