Job Summary

Join our customer’s team as an Air Traffic Controller
, where your aviation expertise will directly influence the development of AI-driven air traffic management systems. This hybrid role combines operational ATC experience with AI training, scenario design, and educational responsibilities, helping shape both intelligent aviation tools and the next generation of aviation professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage air traffic control (ATC) operations virtually, ensuring safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine training data for AI aviation systems.
  • Design realistic and edge-case scenarios to improve AI robustness and decision-making capabilities.
  • Validate, analyze, and provide feedback on AI outputs to ensure operational accuracy and reliability.
  • Teach undergraduate-level courses, develop syllabi and instructional materials, and lead engaging tutorials or discussions.
  • Evaluate, grade, and record student assessments while delivering timely, constructive feedback.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and a culture of continuous learning.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in air traffic control operations and strong knowledge of aviation regulatory compliance.
  • Analytical thinking with expertise in scenario design, problem-solving, and operational planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for remote collaboration and instruction.
  • Familiarity with AI training data development, validation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Adaptable to rapidly evolving technologies and operational environments.
  • Experience mentoring, training, or teaching in technical or operational contexts.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities including instructional preparation, scenario creation, and assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience teaching undergraduate or technical aviation courses.
  • In-depth understanding of AI applications in air traffic management or airspace operations.
  • Advanced certification or continued professional development in ATC or aviation education.
