SYEP Positions; Ages 14-15

Summer Youth Enrichment Program (SYEP)

The Summer Youth Enrichment Program offers Prince George’s County youth and young adults (ages 14–24) enriching and constructive summer work experiences in community organizations, private sector companies, and government agencies.

• Energy Conservation - Virtual, $300 stipend one-time payment, 4 weeks. Participants engage in hands‑on explorations, research, and analysis to deepen understanding of STEM, energy efficiency, and sustainability, and receive activity kits shipped to home.
• Job Readiness Training – Prince George’s Community College - Virtual, $300 stipend one-time payment, 4 weeks. Training focuses on workplace ethics, communication, problem‑solving, customer service, and teamwork. Participants may earn a digital badge.
• Job Readiness Training – Forward Movement Enterprises - Virtual, $300 stipend one-time payment, 4 weeks. Same training focus and badge opportunity.

• Resident of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
• Must be 14 or 15 years old by July 1, 2025.
